I love my Geolander AT-S tires and they did very well in muddy spot where alot of people did get stuck from thier tires clogging. very quiet on the road. The day after I got them It poured rain here and I could actually fly through deep puddles(not that i recommend it).

My Firestone's are pretty similar in tread design to what you have. Looking for something just a little bit more aggressive that what either you or I run currently. Wish Firestone would make a tire to compete with the DuraTrac.

Can't get time to screw around andpaint my valance. Stupid work, STUPID Cadillac STS, don't ever put headlights in an 07. First time I've had to totally take a front bumper off to change some goddamn headlights.

How much do the bigger tires affect gas mileage?

I haven't really noticed any change in how the gas mileage is in my truck. If I wasn't leaving back to basic in acouple days I'd get the numbers for ya. I'm still going to regear my truck to a 3.91 since I'll most likely stick to the size I currently have for getting alittle more power to the tires than the 3.58? ratio i have in mine for when I try to take on more difficult trails. we'll see when I get my truck back in 7 weeks or up to the middle of summer.

go to parts geek and get a body shop to color match it. I think maco will do it for less than 100 bucks.

Ill look into that^ another question. Im looking at 16x8 pro comps with a 4.5 b.s. and 0 o.s. Will a spacer or a little caliper grinding allow these to fit? Or is it to far off. Tires btw will be 265/75/16 destinations. Any rubbing with fatbobs, bilstein hd's, and black box removed?

I had a couple on my old beater bronco II crawler. They only come with a small amount of wiring and some mounting hardware. I wired them to the existing headlight switch as it was green sticker. So you'll need some switches and relays.

thanks for the reply man. ill most likely do a light bar on the bed and run the wire under the cab or through it should i run the wire directly from the battery? and i want to make the whole setup removable so i can put my shell on for hunting and camping trips. any ideas?

If you want it removable then I would run it straight to the bat and incorporate a plug up top so it's easily removable.

My advice is get a different rim. You dont want anything to do with grinding break calipers it could mess up the caliper very easily. And wheel spacers are never a good idea. Not to mention youll have rubbing on the sway away bar more than anything. You need probably atleast a -12 offset on the rim. I have a -19 and dont come anywhere close to rubbing. You will need to remove the black box. Look on the 3rd page of my build page I think it shows how I cut it out. The fat bobs lift is the best bet IMO you get replacement rear shocks with the lift.

and thats my 2 cents

^dont say this to me!, i hear mixed things about spacers but obviously a perfect fit without them is always better. I will continue looking around and cross that bridge when i get there

    Just saying...

I did alot of research on 5 lug rim/tire combos and how to set it up. The best bet is to do it with as little modification as possible. Cut the black box out and slap the rims and tires on there. Go up to discount tire. They have bible sized books of rims. Just make sure you get a good tire guy to talk to. Not some lazy teenage punk that doesnt care to help you.
