I got my OME kit with 9000's/885 assembled from Toytec and OME rears/aal. I was planning on doing the install tomorrow with a buddy, but thought I would look over the truck/undo some bolts to see how difficult it would be. Well, that turned into just installing the fronts myself this afternoon. Here is pretty much how it went:

3 hrs. from getting tools out to clean-up completed
1: Disconnect driver's side sway bar end links
2: Remove the two bolts holding the LCA ball joint to hub
3: Remove engine bay splash guard
4: Disconnect tie rod end w/ tie rod end puller (really easy)
5: Remove sway bar brackets so it can be moved around
    6: Remove lower coilover bolt
7: Remove 3 upper coilover bolts
    8: Slide coilover out
9: Put new coilover in & finger tighten upper 3 bolts
10: Put bottle jack upside down (base against inner fender) & "jack" the UCA down until you can get the lower coilover bolt in place
11: Do the same thing on the other side
12: Reassemble and torque everything to spec.

After seeing all of the difficulties that a number of people have had, I was very worried about this process. As I was putzin' around and the stock coilover almost fell out, I thought why not try.

    Here are some pics

Now my question is this really:
I have not done the rear (TSB is installed) and the truck comes out almost dead level, should I install the aal or just skip it. I really don't tow (maybe once-twice a year).

Measurements (center of hub to fender):
    Pre-lift
    Front Driver: 20
    Front Passenger: 20.5
    Rear Driver: 24
    Rear Passenger: 24

    Post:
Front Driver: 23.5 (3" of lift + trim packer.... needs time to settle)
    Front Passenger: 23.5

Thank you to all of the members that have posted their antics on here. I think I have read almost all of the OME install threads and it was extremely helpful.

    Cheers all

If you want it to be level-then no I would leave it as is. The front will settle a little bit and you'll end up with rake anyways.

    It's kinda your call.

I didn't really have much to say- You'll have a bit of rake with the rear stuff installed. It will all settle...so my guess is you are going to end up with some rake either way....The rear lift will give you more tire clearance and stuff in the long run I should think..but again it's your call.
