When I bought mine new in 96 2.7L had a couple of miles on it. First year I put 32,000 or more miles on it. It was my money maker in those days. Now I'm going on 200,000. 4 things have gone bad on it, (1) starter went out on it after 3 years, it was a fluke from what I was told, they hardly go bad and it was hard to find a replacement at that time. (2) Power steering pump went out a few years back, just like that, no warning at all. (3) Last spring top of the radiator cracked, the plastic cover, just leaked a little but I caught it in time, so I replaced the with a new radiator. (4) Not really a problem but once I fixed the radiator couple of months back I'll be darned if a clutch spring broke on me, now take in mind this is the original clutch and its still driviable just really hard pedel to push now. Everything else is original except for things like spark plugs, air filter, fluids..etc. Motor has never been broke into, no leaks, I did find a small seepage on the distributor shaft, nothing major, easy fix o-ring, changed that when the radiator was put in. All drive belts, clutch, all bushings, back brakes, exhaust and cat, all sensors are original. I've put 1 battery, 1 set of struts and shocks, 2 sets of front brakes, on the 3rd set of tires, and about to put my 1st clutch in. I can say nothing bad this truck at all, best vehicle I've ever had and it still runs great and starts everytime :).
