Hey yall I just got my Bilstein Adjustable Lift Kit with 5100s from Toytec installed about a month ago. Today I was parked by a buddy's tacoma with a 3'' rough country spacer lift with 2'' blocks. My front end was a lot lower than his for some reason, and he has a lot more clearance for his front tires (same size as me 285s). What do yall think is goin on? Im positive the guy that did my lift put the 5100s at .85 and I have top plate spacers too. Also, it seems like I have a lot of rake. Will my AALs settle some over time to level it out? I dunno maybe im just paranoid about it.

    Heres a pic:

maybe his spacer is more than 3"? just know yours will be sittin higher after his cheap lift makes his springs sag

How much did your aal's raise the back? If it's a 2" aal you'd need to raise the front 3" to level it out. Your's looks good with that rake though, and if you carry a load or tow your going to be siiting level while your friend would be nose high.

Yeah i guess i shoulda got some heavier coils. I have plenty of room for my tires with this setup though. I hardly ever rub.

I have the 5100/eibach set up minus the top plate. It looks pretty close to what you have. I don't have as much lift in the rear though. But, I had to chop a good amount off my cab mount.

You have a very slight rake which I like. I want a touch of reserve, I don't want to go negative if I toss one bag of Sakrete back there.
    Your rig looks good.

Sounds like you're buddy is spacered up beyond 3"
I'll bet his halfshafts are hatin' life.

Measure from the axle center to the top center of the wheel wells.
Stock is about 20" front and 22" rear

I like it. But, it does ride a little rough which is to be expected. I am running 285/75/16 duratracs on 16x9 rims The reason why I had to trim so much is most likely due to the rim width. Before I had 255/85/16 tires and all I had to trim with those was the plastic. Cab mount chop isn't that big of a deal anyway.

jflan i measured today and i got about 23'' front and 24'' rear. Can that be right because my new tires should have added 2'' also?
