LOL! Obviously Dixie is in charge of Jake--even when he makes it to the frisbee before her, she still takes it and brings it back! Very well trained dogs! I love the way they lay down to wait!

Actually, it's the exact opposite. Jake is absolutely the dominant one. However, when it comes to the ball and frisbee, Jake wants whatever Dixie has, but just lets her do the work.

What's funny is that even when Jake gets there first, he'll pick it up, but will go drop it somewhere else for Dixie to bring back... :)

I need to catch a video of Dixie pushing/throwing the ball to me... Cutest thing ever!

I stand corrected! Never would have guessed that Jake was in charge from the video! It looked like she was letting him have it for taking her toy when they were waaayyy back there. They are really adorable, energetic little buggers tho! :D I can't wait for the catch video!

Ok, here they are again... I don't narrate video well, so I'm sure it'll be boring, but towards the end, Jake does his trademark "get the ball and put it somewhere for Dixie to retrieve" bit...

Check with the AKC for local breeders. Stay away from pet stores and back yard breeders. Yes, you will probably pay more, but you should end up with a healthier puppy. Or check out animal shelters in your area.

My sister just bought a boston puppy, from a pet store, that ("didn't come from a puppy mill") and ended up having parasites and after SEVERAL trips to the vet and back they are FINALLY gone.

    Good luck.

All of the above, plus not contributing to the perpetuation of puppy mills! You don't even want to know what puppy mills are like or how they treat the "parents" of the puppies. :(
