Geez, they really left a mess. The trees they took don't even seem very big. Like Ed said, sucks:(

Doesn't look like they cut anything big enough to make a 2x4 out of

i may have helped with the loss of grass

until someone with 150 acres says come cut a bunch of shit down please and give us money for it

theyre not done and most of what you can actually see was cut and such to get the equipment in...

i dont have pics of the actual timber but most of the trees were around 1.5' to 2' in diameter...

theyve been at it for a week or so and have probably a weeks worth left

Don't know where you took those pictures, but I do know the last time I went to Columbia, I went past a couple of places that now look like that. The trees are coming down everywhere.

My dad had this done a couple of years ago on a small section of land. He got $10,000 dollars for the lumber they took.

these were taken in lexington...almost to lake murray

luckily the trees arent being cut for commercialization..as its our land...just for some $$

yeah thats pretty much why it was done here...the woods arent hunted and it was really overgrown in the underbrush and such...so it pretty much got clear cut with some remaining areas with trees...and most of the land will get replanted with trees so we can do it again sometime

neither is your sig pic

on the upside...its added quite a challenge even for my truck to get around because of the mud and hills that were apparently hidden in the groves of trees...and of course any downed trees that havent been picked up yet...oh and stumps...
