What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Thanks! This moding crap takes forever. I was playing in paint today to see how the remaining additions would look...2" lift, cap, rack, yellow fogs with painted mirrors and handles and I think I could finally stop dumping money into this pit.

Purchased and installed an OEM Toyota bed mat.

I replaced all 6 of my bed bolts and put d rings on the 4 toward the front of the bed. Also put a autobot hitch cover on.

Oh, and washed my truck!

 

Got mine muddy. Took it up a mountain using 4 wheel drive for the first time. Ran up the steep hill like a goat.

 

just did the constant 12v relay mod, pretty easy

My cable seems to stick straight on the ram. It does have a bit of a kink in it but it does not shift the bed side to side. Maybe lightly sand where the cable/ram touch so it gives it some grip to not slip off to the sides?

 

That e-z-down gate is the next mod I wanna do. I bought the hood struts for my 2010 and never installed them... Good thing, now I can install them on my 2012

 

What brand did you use? When you get done give an update on how you like. I really want to do this. It just seems stupid these do not come factory.

 

yeah I totally agree... I ended up buying the Redline Struts or the one that was on here in the Group Buys section. It was a good price and I couldn't pass it up.

 

did a mock fit for am amp, then tightened some bolts that I thought were loose (which were lol), finally decided to sweep the left over debris and dirt out of the bed.

 

Found some mud, I've seen people in more..

Greased the squeaky hinge on my fuel door. Installed dome, and map light LED's.
