    Don't wait til spring, fellas. Most of the bigger trout hit when the weather turns colder. The Browns are spawnin right now and are ridiculously agressive. Even the smaller ones are a heckuva lot of fun to catch. Especially on an ultralite rig. They'll dog ya like crazy.

    Yea, I catch my fair share of prety good size trout for this area. I don't get in the water as much when it's cold, but the I catch a better ratio of big fish during the cold months. Luckily, no one around here has caught on yet. Either that, or it's just too cold for em. I'll tough it out for an hour or 2 to catch some good fish.

    Some friends came up from UGA to "vacation" up here in Blue Ridge and one of em wanted to do some fishin. Took him and his dad today. I was too busy guiding them to catch many, but we did good. I ended up with 7 or 8, they had 23-25 combined. Along with this guy...

    ^^You werent kidding about catching some good fish in the colder weather. The lakes are starting to freeze a little bit up here, I mean a little like a coating of ice. It wont last because it is still warming up during the day.

    Heck yea! I throw the majority of them back, but I'll keep a good one like that to eat. One fish can feed 3 or 4 people, instead of having to keep 6 or 7.
