Do you think a non oem radiator would do? I just gotta make sure they use Toyota coolant.

If your like me I'd spend more time worrying after putting a non oem in that it's not worth it. I'd put factory back in myself. The orignal has lasted 166k pretty good !!! But I would pay to have it flushed and refilled before I swapped it. Just to see keep an eye on it.

His and hers 2010 Trial Team trucks in this family.......I would love to modify the wife's 4runner, they just look so bad ass with lift / bumper / sliders, the rig will never see anything but pavement as long as she owns it, she just didn't like the looks of the SR5 model...so, lockers, crawl control, kdss etc...will just be along for the ride.

I Gave up my 3rd gen modified for the FJ:...oh how I miss that truck, sonoran steel lift kit, supercharged with supporting mods, 5sp w/locker....oh well !! can alway's get another 3rd gen.

I'm in the same boat! Yours look awesome all the goodies are there if you need them. We went with the trail model cause they took the rear locker out of every other model. It's our 3rd 4runner love them wife won't drive anything else now lucky me!

Thought I could 4wheel it up on what I thought was a packed down pile of iced snow for a cool pic, but the sun was out and my 4runner just drove over it, lol. Got this 4th Gen a couple of months back and slowly adding goodies. Put some Goodyear Wranglers on it and powder coated the stock rims. Lately it's been on the inside like tv screens in the head rest, not for me, for my daughter's entertainment of course ;)

Next up is a small lift.

just joined up on the forum...some sick runners in here! here is my slow but sure build here. decided to trade in my Tahoe for a toyota for a bit better mileage, and some fun....got tired of driving my dads truck all the time, and didnt wanna do to much damage to my wifes Taco.

here is Stacy stock when i bought her. super clean. 1997 5spd SR5 with 196k on her. gonna daily drive her for a few years, and then get myself a car and use this as the family off roader. my entire family is in the off road thing, we love going..so thats where she will be in a few years. so i have big plans for her in the future.

3in lift, with Dick Crepe 17in wheels, and Nitto 33 in All Terrains.

I plan on runner her til she dies, and then rebuilding her again! i honestly NEVER want to get rid of this truck!
but plans include, full budbuilt skids, sliders, front and possibly rear bumper, new longer travel shocks, exhaust, finish the deckplate mod w/K&N Drop in, lockers, and rhino line the kicker. itll be a slow project, but eventually ill have her built up.
