Much of the inspiration for buying the Taco that I did lies in this thread. Thanks everyone!!

thanks! funny you mention it, pyrite was kindof my second choice too. i put a deposit on a magnetic grey tacoma in march, but because i wanted a 6spd they ended up having to order one. then the tsunami came and by the time toyota started making tacomas again i was into the new model year, and had to start from scratch. changed the color at the last minute, but im very happy with it. magnetic grey is definately and awesome color too!

Here's my '12 TRD 4x DCSB. Officially "owned" by one of my dad's dogs. Always a warm welcome when visiting home.

    Thinking about a cap.

The ARE MX looks like a good unit, what do you think the black would look like on there? Or should with another brand one that matches the pyrite mica?

Been wanting a Pyrite Taco for a while now, just having a hard time parting with my Jeep.
Got my eye on a Certified Used '11 DC SB TRD Sport 4x4 with 16K miles. They're asking $25,900....deal or no deal?

Yea thats a good deal. At least 3k- 4k off of what you probably would've paid to be the first owner (thats if you worked at it). Make sure it has a clean carfax. Good Luck

So I just now joined taco world after being a lurker for months, I blame this thread for me finally joining ;)

I ordered a Mag Gray TRD Offroad Double (4x4) in manual box and now I'm thinking about changing it to Pyrite. That Toyota gray is everywhere, I saw a Prius that color today. So I better make a decision, I'm leaning Pyrite since as of now, I think.

Anyway, thanks for the pics and discussion. Talk with you soon I'm sure!

Mahalo Tigah, not sure if you're on Maui, but man I saw a lot a taco's there.

Right now I'm buying at $29,900, is this an alright deal?
(for TRD Offroad 4x4 double + tow). Of course, everything in the Bay Area is expensive, and the truck I'm getting is not in stock anywhere. I could save some if I took a trip to Bakersfield and they had something instock I guess.

I'll post pics when it finally arrives.

DCSB Offroad 4x4 6spd and no Entune (because I don't want "the government" in my ride)
