Mine was estimated at just over a month from when I ordered it, showed up in 3 weeks. I think how close to port you are plays a factor. No train needed from Jacksonville to Tampa, if you are in the middle of nowhere, it could be different.

Generally, I would say 6-8 weeks. It depends on the particular configuration and options you want though. Toyota builds models in batches and there are sometimes delays in part supplies. Right now, there is supposedly a shortage of some Sport package component (probably the wheels) so those builds have been pushed back a bit.

Your dealer must have allocation, enter your order, and then you wait for Toyota to do build it whenever they want to. Once it hits production and is assigned a VIN, you can get a pretty accurate estimate of delivery but before that, it is really a guess.

I ordered my Tacoma in early September and had several dealer issues that caused delays. The truck is still not here so I finally just took one that was close enough from a competent dealer and called it good.

If what you ordered is already being built soon, then you could get it really fast too.

Also I really love my MGM sport worth the wait, don't know if you got the chrome wheels but I have to say they have grown on me, gives it just a little bling combined with the sport pkg.

I was lucky enough to find a Tacoma double cab 4x4 Off-Road nearby which very closely fit my requirements (silver steak mica, etc). As such, it was ordered last Christmas eve and delivered to the dealer in my area the very next week. It's now sitting in the garage waiting for accessories (bull guard, side steps, bed extender, security system, etc), each to be installed by the dealer.

I've also ordered a gull-wing toolbox from a local store. The manufacturer didn't yet have one for the 2012 Tacoma, but they're custom building one to fit. After that arrives, a CB antenna will be fitted into the middle of the toolbox.

I really feel for you regarding the wait. I've been through that in the past with other vehicles, which is why I tried so hard to avoid it this time. Also sorry to hear about your accident, but glad to see you obviously made it through that okay.

By the way, I have to agree with rudy1201. You are going to like your new truck. It looks good, rides good, and has better acceleration than you'd likely expect. Certainly not a sports car, but definitely a nice pick-up truck.
