cab marker lights

    Anyone here got cab marker lights on thier tacoma ? I saw a complete set for about $20 at assvance auto lastnite only problem is i dont like the idea of drilling holes in the roof

    well that does it for me then i havent seen a set on any of the tacomas around here so my happy azz is going to assvance or autozone in the morning got 2 remember to get sum sealent 2 i shure dnt want any leaks

    cab lights installed they look great took a few hours to do but i feel it was well worth it . post sum pix when i get to town

    if you can change a light bulb you can do this just position the lights where you want them mark the holes drill them out fasten the lights. Once you have the lights where you want them take the front part of your head liner out connect the wires with the supplied hardware. You can either use the supplied switch or just hook into you running lights as i did and thats it good luck

    I wish the lights were magnetic so I didn't have to drill my roof. Maybe I'll see if I can put magnets in them so i can see if i like them before I'd commit to them.

    LEER Shell with dome lights operated with 3 way switches, aux backup lights with relay and 3 position switch, modified wiring to compass/temp display and clock to include switch that disables dimming function (poor man's DRL solution), Scan Gauge 2
    You guys have more guts than I do. I'd be worried about rust. Especially if the lights were only 20 bucks for a set.

    Not my cup of tea anyway.

    Props for taking the plunge.

    If you are interested they have higher priced ones at jcwhitney . As far as the rust im not concerned im going to put silicone around them ive got a set on my 78 chevy they been there for 15 years with no problems rust etc other than a bulb now and then . Go for it and be proud of your self im the only 1 in my area with a set on my tacoma i like being different
