I have a DCSB, and I just bought some Toyota D-Ring Tie Downs to mount in the bed, I want to mount them up near the cab end of the bed, but not sure exactly where is the best place. Suggestions? Pitures? Places not to put them?

    Stock for now
Most use the stock bed bolt locations.
Others have not on the side of the bed but it isn't as strong. I think T@coprerunner has a write up if you search d ring side of bed or something like that.....
here is a bump up maybe someone knows or will help will side installation.

You can use the bed bolt locations or, I wanted them further toward the outside of the truck so I drilled out the two outter water drain holes and mounted OEM d-rings in those holes. I use them as a motorcycle tie down so I wanted the rings to be located at a wider distance than the frame rails.

I put mine where the instructions specified. I don't use them for anything heavy duty but they do work well for holding down tarps and things like that.

    What instructions?

I thought most people just bought D-rings and mounted them to the bed. I even bought OEM d-rings like the ones on the rear of the bed and they didn't come with any sort of instructions.

I was thinking of not using the bed bolts, I bet my factory bed bolts are rusted in there for good...

No money, all went to truck...

Yups, You'd be surprised what a small impact driver can loosen.
