Lucic did leave the bench and I think the league recinded the call so he wouldn't get the automatic ten game suspension .

Players on both sides were taking whacks at each other , give me a break . You see what happens when a Bruin player gets hit , everybody piles in and then they sort out partners , same shit different jersey .

I don't happen to believe that Weiss intended to draw Thornton into a penalty , they were lined up , obviously agreeing to a fight and Thornton dropped his gloves prior to the puck drop . What was Weiss supposed to do , drop them and get ejected ? If Thornton waited till the puck dropped , they would have fought .

Thorton did wait until the puck dropped, I watched the highlights. And that is why both players went to the box for 2 mins. (there was a linesmen right behind them that watched everything)
