In preparation of finally getting some additional lights wired up I went ahead and relocated the oem horns and installed tim's light bar. I'll post up these pics in case anyone needs some extra pictures for their project:

Once you take off all of the electrical tape from the stock wiring, you're pretty much left with this:
    IMAG0052_b87c3a13357dc8ddaf91db61db48678e86e39281.jpg

These wires had to be extended, so when you snip the wire from the oem wiring, make sure you leave yourself enough wire in both ends to solder/attach the new piece of wire. Here's what mine looks like prior to solder and electrical tape:

And here is the finished product. You can see that I simply re-used a stock bolt location. In order to use this spot, all you need to do is snip about 1" worth of metal from the bottom of the bracket. Bend it out of the way and (after adjusting the brackets on the horns), bolt them back in place. A zip tie keeps the new wiring hidden too

Mine went a similar place near yours.. on the horizontal crossmember right next to your spot. No machining except the 5/16 hole in the xmember. Depth-of-fiels in my picture sucks, so the shrouded wire linking the two horns doesn't really touch the radiator. I made it short enough so it can't. Likewise the horns don't really face the back of the structural bumper. Not quite done wiring. I'm using the main hot of the stock horn to trigger a Wolo BadBoy in concert with the stock horn.

So I am not dissing you but what is the point of this mod? Does it change the sound or something?

It makes it so you can't see the horn through a mesh grille.

Holy Cripes! Is THAT why I did it? I just saw everyone ELSE doing it. Being a new member I thought I had to do it to keep in good standing. ....seriously, I'm just glad I know where people are putting them now. Inch by inch; Step by Step; Slowly I turned, and one day I had a mesh grille with no ugly horns visible..... but for now I have relocated horns, a Wolo BadBoy, blacked out grille surround and I know how to get the dang thing off again when I am ready for the mesh!!

That makes sense. I bet everything shows through one of those grills?

Well, that, plus I wanted to make sure that they didn't interfere w/ a set of lights that are going back there. So it has more than aesthetical reasoning.
