**FYI I am running Fox 2.5 non-resi coils with Total Chaos UCA's up front with AllPro Expedition leafs and Fox 2.0 shocks in the rear**

I installed my Fox set up this past weekend but neglected to purchase a spanner wrench with the kit. After reading post after post on this site searching for info about this set up I took matters into my own hands. It seems most of you are running the Fox 2.0's with the teeth adjustments on the collar and those of you who are running the Fox 2.5's were able to use a punch, screwdriver, 9mm hex wrench, etc to adjust the collars with the holes. Since my set up has the small hole adjustments I took everyone's advice and tried everything to turn these adjustment collars based upon what you all were able to use.

HERE IS THE SOLUTION: Go purchase a strap wrench from your local hardware store! I sprayed some WD40 around the collars and threads and used my strap wrench to slowly but easily turn the coils down to my desired height. Genius!

So here are the numbers I came up with... I turned the coils down so that there is 1.5" from the top of the threads to the top of the top lock collar or you could say there is 2" from the top of the threads to the top of the adjustment ring. I had previously installed a 2.5" spacer lift so I am unable to provide exact lift numbers but my final measurements (from level ground to bottom of finder) are 39.5" in the front and 40" in the rear. Again I am not sure how much of a lift this provided me compared to the spacer but it is quite significant. The AllPro rear expo leafs are supposed to give 4" of lift when the bed is empty and 3" of lift with 500lb in the bed so based on those numbers I am going to guess I have 4" of lift in the rear. Looking at the truck it has a slight rake (makes since due to the 1/2" difference front to back) so I assume I got 3.5" of lift in the front?

Anyway I searched and read posts for months since I purchased this set up in Oct 2011 and just installed it and there were not many write ups for this set up specifically so I hope this helps someone.

YOU WILL BE MISSED Satoshi Grill, FX-R retros, husky liners, bed bolt d-rings, TRD short throw shifter, 2.5 Fox Coil overs, AP UCA's, AP Expo rear leaf with Fox 2.0 shocks, Extended SS brake lines, AP kick-out sliders, 265/75/16 on Konig Countersteers, AllPro Apex front bumper and Zip Ties.
Glad to see you finally made it! My same lift (AP UCA's not TC's) has been on since October and I love it. The rear EXPO leafs will definitely let you know they are there but I like having the piece of mind I can load weight without any sag. Its a pogo stick without anything in the bed!

    Pics or it didn't happen.

Hey brother! Yes I finally found the time and it is long overdue. Where the heck are your updated pics? I saw the first two you posted way back when but nothing since. Did you adjust your coils and come up with the same numbers or did you leave it the way it came? Yes the expo leafs definitely live up to the expectations but I am 240lb and barely budge the bastards jumping up and down in the bed.

Did you do brake lines? My rig has been parked the last few days because mine are seized up and don't have time to fool with it til the weekend. It looks to me like I would be fine with the stock lines but it was tight when I jacked the rear end off the ground to mimic max flex.

I did do the brake lines, in hindsight I would spend the money on a flare wrench to prevent mishaps. I couldn't believe how frozen the connections were on a 2010 in SoCal!??

I measure from hub center to bottom of flare and my fronts were 24" and the rear is 25" IIRC. I posted the measurements on a response to another self titled thread.

I have to add some pics to the gallery, I just recently had the sliders welded on so its about that time to get a bath and shine for the photos.

Your ride is looking good, I love the revolvers those are my favorite wheel. I had them on my last truck, kinda wish I didn't get rid of her but a diesel was soooo over kill for my needs.

My top bolts on both front and rear brake lines are frozen! I want sliders so bad! Shine her up and get some pics man.

The picture in my sig is last summer with the spacer lift. I will shine her up a bit and get some updated shots. I need some pics of the rear set up too but I was so tired and frustrated by the end of the night we did the lift.

I thoroughly love my revolvers. I just can't find any other rim I would even consider on my rig. I think the truck color plays a huge part and black to me doesn't offer too many options I personally like.

Rudy, you have any popping noises coming from the front now that the coils and uca's are installed? I noticed that going over any bump which causes the vehicle to drop (such as backing off of or onto a curb) is when it occurs. Also can you get a measurement of the threads of your coils? I measure 2" from the top of the adjustment ring to the top of the threads.

I Jez, I've been experiencing the same thing. That popping noise happens when my suspension droops over curbs, or if the front end lifts up high enough from stepping on the gas at a stop sign/signal. I posted on the "long travel BS" forum.
    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/long-travel-suspension/109317-long-travel-bs-thread-1238.html

I took a quick video of the sound that it's making. Is this simiilar to yours?

    Check out my build thread.
Hey I have that same popping noise and was wondering if any of you finally figured out why this was happening? Thanks
