    I'm sneaky.
Yep, 123rd and Sheridan is where i reside now. Not sure if i would like 24 hour fitness, seems like it would be too busy.

Coming to Colorado and within an hour?

You can also go south as far as Castle Rock. I live in Littleton. Nice area. Stay away from the east side of town. Green Mountain, Lakewood, and Golden are have nice areas to.

Northside is over rated. :p But has the most recent growth within the last few years. But from what I hear now the traffic coming down from the northside is horrible due to the growth. Just an opinion.

Holy shit, Lifetime Fitness is busy at 4:30p+. I am lucky that I get off work at 3 and leave the gym right as it gets busy. I think I would choose a more exclusive Gym if I had to go during peak hours.

    x2....

golden is a recreational paradise for a denver area city...small town feel, at the base of the foothills with biking trails all over, hiking and climbing at your doorstep and close to I70 to get up to the resorts and more mountains...

if you don't mind small town feel, then that's a good start..and it's fairly cheap

check out morrison area too...close to red rocks which is a great perk too

I would love to live in Golden! Couldn't afford the area we wanted though. Now reside in Arvada which is nice as well.

Where are you going to work? That would be key for me, if its South Denver then there is no way in hell i would live North Denver the drive is terrible.

another good point....let us know where you're looking at working we can give you a heads up on the traffic routes to avoid....

since moving west from denver i've lived on the outside of golden, lakewood by green mountain and now lakewood by kipling and 285...those 3 locations all require me to take 6th in to denver everyday and it SUCKS!!! gotta hit it eastbound by before 7am to beat the traffic and after 6pm to miss it going home...otherwise it will double your drive time..

I'd stay out of fort collins Loveland area unless you are looking to live outside of Denver and never come into town. I went to school up that way beautiful area but compared to the metro area there is not shit to do.

I agree that traveling southbound on I25 sucks starting at 120th.
Hwy 36 however heading toward Denver isn't bad in the morning, heading into Boulder is though.
Most big business jobs are going to be in denver or boulder. Staying somewhere along 36 will get you to either. That is why I chose the location i did for purchase. I currently work in north denver and my wife works in boulder. Works out perfectly.
