sr5 locking differential?

    I've never seen any indication that it only controls engine power in 2wd mode. The manual certainly doesn't stipulate a difference in the TRAC system between 2wd and 4hi. Where did you hear this?

    All 2009-2012 SR5s, TRD Sports and TRD Off Roads have the autoLSD standard. The mechanical LSD of the 2005-2008s was standard on the TRD Sports. But it was an option for the SR5. That's about as much as I know.

    Does anyone have problems with hearing a popping sound from under there 08' TRD Sport? Maybe from the drive shaft and is usually only when you backup or take off at low speeds.

    i dont think any reg cabs had any b/c of the different gear ratio of the 4 bangers.

    IIRC, you have the same 8.4" rear, but we have a 3.73 in the v6's (non-xrunner)

    I have a 2010 sr5 6 speed my 4x4, is it a locking diff.or will it only spin 1 tire and how would I find out exactly what gear is in it?
