    I used to reach in through the wheel well hole before I put on UCA gussets. Now the hole is gone and next oil change I will have to find a new trick :(

    I've got the tape on my and its not leaking yet. But I went to a leer shop and got a camper seal gasket. Was like 45 bucks and I used weather stripping on the tail gate to seal the back up. Stay pretty dry in there now.

    Ive never understood why its so tricky to go in the wheel well. Unless someone has really torqued it one there, i just crank my steering wheel as far over and just reach in and spin off. That way i dont get oil running down my arm.

    What kind of shell?

    My Astro POS has bolt heads on the bottom of the shell that rests along the bed rails. Horrible design... doesn't allow a good seal. I weatherstripped the piss out of it and I get leaks only in the four corners now.

    Another culprit is the back glass, specifically the lower corners. Check out this fix:
