Awesome! I'm still gonna try to get one anyway. I need to teach my wife to sleep on the ground instead of renting a cabin all of the time. She says "I want to go camping" I say "No, you want to go stay in a cabin". She doesn't get it.

I like that. Did you get the air mattress to go in the bed or do you just rough it?

Snagged a double thick twin air mattress from the wally world camping department. We did the Colorado Rockies at 12000ft in August getting down to 40 degrees at night in the valleys with a down comforter and real pillows. It was tight but that wasn't necessarily a bad thing;)

It was cheating. Beats the balls off ground camping. As long as you have the TRD plug in the bed it's cake.

Nothing wrong with any of that.

Does that tent hook onto the tailgate while it's down?

Yup. Pulls the tent out onto the tailgate with stretchy straps so its really like 7-8ft long.

I'd have pics but its crappy and raining. Came out damn good. Didn't quite get everything in the first shot but it'll all come together when it gets sliders and we tube out the front fenders.

So do I wire up the winch before or after I get the synth line for it? Decided the in-cab control is going on the center console next to the cup holder so that's gonna be an adventure and a half. Part of me wants to wait for new winch cable, because I'm lazy and procrastinating sounds good right now. But on the other hand my truck is in the garage and the bumper needs a winch in it and I'm kinda bored.

Sounds like you have yourself a dedicated trail rig. :D

I say go ahead and wire it up man. With all of the folks that have ran switches up to the center console it can't be to hard.

I'll do it this week sometime. 80ft of synthetic line with hook is only $200 at sierra expeditions. Should be able to swing that to get the winch up.
