Bed roll bar? yes or no?

So so retro! Are they coming back! Didn't have one in my 87 Toyota truck. My buddy had a triple/double in his extra cab V6 1988.

 

Sweet that wouuld be almost perfect. Ill take some measurements either today or tommarow and break out the mig and see what i can come up with

 

i remember when he handcuffed to guys to it one time. lol. love to see what would happen to the officer if he was to do that in real life now a days.

 

Yeah I will probably start working on mine next week. Also forgot to mention it will have a couple antenna mounts too. For cb and ham

Oh I forgot to mention, I do like the rollbar look. Haha I just forgot to throw that in. I think it would look good.

 

i think im actually gonna go with a headache rack if i do anything. Did yu ever get yours fnished?

I typically do not like chrome, but this is one nice looking truck. I like the 95-97 front end better than any of the newer ones. That roll bar is nice.

Not yet. I'm still trying to figure out how I'm gonna put the strobes on, but then I'll get it going.

 

Marty McFly called. he says to put another coat of wax on, and don't lie to me about it this time.

 

I drew up a design in my Ag. Mechanics class, Andd the way i do it is mount four lights on top tih my stobes mount under that. I also made a place to mount an extinguisher under the window. If i can find the desgn ill put a picture on here

I am not a fan of roll bars on new trucks. But looking at the 80s/90s vintage toyota's really makes me nostalgic for my high school days. Marty's toyota was my dream vehicle back then.
