My only complaint is why did they have to get rid of the M82 and nerf all the other top/strong sniper rifles.

I tried Bad Company 1 and it wasnt that all appealing. Played a little BC2 (campaign). Saw someone play BF3 and it was an eye catcher. Have yet to purchase it. My main question: Is the online play as broken as MW3? Only positive thing I've heard about online play is that it's hard to be a lone wolf without using team support. Unlike MW3. If someone could convince me to buy it, I'll consider it.

My 14yr old son has played all of the MW & said BF3 is a way better game with more maps & bigger areas. You can do more in the game also. That convinced me to buy it. This is my first real experience with online gaming & I love it. Before I just played campaigns. You can play as a team or as a lone wolf & still be successfull. I found the engineer to be my best class. I set mines & score a ton of points when noobs haul ass over them. My aiming & shooting isn't the best, but getting better. I am using the PP-2000 rifle with laser & silencer, has low recoil & is helping my accuracy.

I've tried a little MW online, the map areas are too small & I get creamed. With BF3's bigger map area I have a better chance.

I suppose as soon as I can scrounge up the dough I'll purchase a copy.

The M40 and SV98 is just as strong. Thats what dissapoints me. You would think itll have a one hit kill like the M82 did in BF2 but nope.

Only one reason i play MW3 and that is for the free for all. If BF3 had free for all. I would never be on MW3. Then theres black ops zombie. I never liked the online play of black ops but could be on zombies for hours.

Ah yea the fact that you can fly a helicopter or a jet any time with out a kill streak. Or jeeps, Tanks, LAV's, and Mortars to name a few.

My best streak was on my buddies gamertag and i went 30 and 1 on foot. I went 20 and 0 on foot on Mine.

But the bullet drop is alot less on the m98 which is where it succeeds in being better. My longest head shot right now is 864m

i used to be a call of duty fanatic. that is probably an understatement. when i saw the commercial for BF3 i was like "oh, well that's cool i guess". then i purchased a copy. then i played it. and i haven't looked back since lol 100x better than the COD monopoly will ever be.

    i will say this though...
has anyone noticed how much easier the online play seems on ps3 compared to 360? i mean, i unlocked everything for the jet in a matter of a few hours on my bros ps3 but i still haven't unlocked everything for the jet on my 360 and i have put a lot more hours into it lol

How do you find the mortars? I have had zero time on them. Is it something you earn with a higher level, or is it scattered around certain maps?

And thats why i use it more than the other 2 but i still will use the other 2. What i like is the recon drone on the recon class. Especially on the rush maps and when you get a good team.

Does the console have the exploit where recon can jump on the mav and ride it into the air?

What i hate is all the MW style players on the servers. IF you have a team that works together its amazing what u can do. I was playing with my Clan which is 6 people. Once we switch to team chat and took over control of the battle and handed out orders we cam back with only 23 tickets left and they had 97 left. Just shows u what u can do.

how did you get the battle stat in your signature?
