Hi, I would definitely have one on hand for you! Sorry to say, no discounts for cash but I'd be happy to offer up an hour or two of my time to help you install the trickier parts, in the case that you will have your new truck in the Seattle area for some extra time. :)

I have looked into that as an option before, but the rocker switch that I provide is high quality and is intuitive in the way it matches the side-to-side motion of the sliding window.

If you wish to source your own switch, I would be more than happy to reduce the cost of the kit by $11 (what I pay for the switch part that I include in the kits). The same goes for other parts of the kit, if you wish to source your own parts (wire spool, adhesive, etc). I'm willing to deduct the cost of whatever parts you don't need or want.

one question... does it lock your window when you slide it all the way to the "closed" position?? or do you have to manually reach back there and close it when you arrive to your destination?

Ben or someone who actually has one can correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think the window technically locks with the factory latch once this is installed. The window is just held closed by the motor, which I think Ben has stated before provides as much resistance force as having it latched.

Yes, Brett and IluvTea are correct. The latch is disabled and is no longer used once the power window kit is installed. The sliding window cannot be forced open from the outside once the kit is installed, much in the same way that a normal power window in one of your doors cannot be forced open against the friction of the motor.

I have a DC but my rear window slides the opposite way?! Will this kit still work with my setup? Or in other words, what modification must be done to get this kit to work on my unique situation?

I'm sure we could make it work.

i have no idea?! I bought the truck used a few years back and it does look like a replacement window. I compared it to my friends truck and his opens up the normal way (opposite of mine).

So if i understand this correctly, in your setup, the regulator is fully closed when the window is closed. If i mounted the regulator on the driver side instead of the passenger side, in order to accommodate my weird truck, can i mount it so that when my window is closed, the regulator is in the open position?

Yes, absolutely. It would work fine to make it work the opposite way, except I have no experience with trimming the drivers side bin or mounting the motor over on that side. We would have to brainstorm a solution for those little details.
