Harden your bark, there are storms on the horizon.

Mine has done the no start twice. Not sure what to think either. They were both random. Only thing I've come up with is that both occurrences I keyed the ignition very quickly...maybe not giving enough time for fuel pump to build pressure. They won't start if computer doesn't sense proper fuel pressure....other than that possibility...I got nothing.

There is not a servicable fuel filter on our trucks unfortunately. Only filter is the "sock" located on the fuel pump intake tube. Not sure what the toyo engineers had on their minds, but I guess they felt it wasn't necessary?

thanks. I have heard great things about the 3.4. I am trying to go after any of the 95-98 t100's with that 3.4. in them. I am going to be moving to Louisiana here soon for about 6 months so I am going to get a cargo trailer and convert it to be able to live in it and just stay at a campground while I am there for that short period of time. Need something to be able to haul that trailer down!

Hummm... no fuel filter??? I think you are right it is a random occurance. It hasn't done it since, so unless it starts happening frequently I'm not going to worry about it since it seems like others have had the same random issue.

Gator season?? A Hundee with the 3.4 should be plenty to haul a decent sized camper. I had a reg cab/8ft bed version and it tugged around 3500lbs of trailer and mower pretty good. Wish I were more monitarily endowed...woulda kept it and sas'ed. Grew pretty attached to it and kept for almost a year after I bought the taco. 2 insurance premiums and wants for taco upgrading sent her on her way.

Nope. No fuel filter. Weird, huh? I haven't sweated the starting issue either. Was embarrased the first time it happened. My Ford loving buddy just had to be riding with me in my less than a year old Toyota on the first occurrence. S'ok though - his Ford was rusting and falling apart and is since long gone. Taco still going strong.

bahaha Nah. I am going to be going to Commercial Diving school down there. I figured the 3.4 should be good enough to tow the trailer down. It will probably be right around 3,500# after it is all loaded up. I miss my old p/u every single day. lol That truck was great with the little 22re. If I didn't need the extra passenger room, I'd still have it.

Just got stationed at Fort Knox and living in Louisville. Looking for some trails and other members in the same area. Is there a place to find trail rides, camping trips, etc?

We have meets at my farm every so often. Not many trails but it is a fun place to get together.

    Welcome!!!

    You going to Cavalcade?

I had pink eye in both eyes the week before X-Mas, it sucked. I've never had that before and would have rather had anything but that. It felt like I had a needle in both eyes for 4 days. Glad that is over with.

pink eye blows. I think I would rather have that though than feeling like I am drowning every time I laid down.

GWhich one of you first gen guys bought their truck in Cali? Trying to figure out how that worked as far as making sure the truck is legit and worth the plane ticket/gas to go out there. Im tired of looking at these rusted ass junkers up here. Lol the last t100 i checked out was super rusty.
