I just read what I typed earlier.. I wasn't making any sense. Not sure why. Maybe it's this messed up weather around here :roll eyes: What I meant to say is I want more aluminum parts available for Jato. The market for SC10 is great.

That's why I only get aluminum parts that really shouldn't fail. Like my castor blocks and bulk heads. And I bash pretty hard and I haven't had any problems with them.

I might get the bearing carriers in aluminum but right now my rpm ones are doing just fine.

Aluminum should only be used in certain areas imo. Sometimes rpm or pro-line plastic parts are more practical. Aluminum might look nice but it could cause more problems in the end. Some parts just need some flex.

This is pretty much my take on alloy parts. Also an A-arm or shock tower can get bent/tweaked and adversely affect handing, while being very hard to isolate the problem, plastic/composite is straight if it ain't broke. A-arms made from alloy (sometimes) can weigh more than the plastic/composite parts adding un-sprung weight, slowing down suspension action, not so bad for backyard bashing, but that's the last thing you want on a race vehicle.

I hear what your saying, but I still prefer something with a warranty.

I actually have front FLM arms on my Slash. So far so good... I'm gonna do RPM for the rear, though. Also gonna do aluminum hub carriers whenever the stock ones break.

You'll master that one in no time, but I still love buzzing the living room with mine (MCX). Your next step is the one that's a blast, something with a tail rotor.

Yeah. My kid loves watching it too!
Kind of disappointed the battery only last about 10 mins though. Need to get like 4 or 5 batterys.

Did I get a good one? The guy at the hobby shop recommended it

IMO prolly one of the best for a beginner, simple and pretty tough, remember, if you get into trouble and can't avoid a crash, just chop the throttle before hitting something and 95% of the time nothing will be broken.

Warranty for rc parts? ROFLMAO!! People hit curbs at full speed and expect them not to break. Electronics? Yes. Parts? No.

Yea, some companies have warrantys for their parts... RPM, REM, FLM etc.

I don't see what's so funny about that :notsure:
