One thing you can do to get the debri is depressurize it by taping over one hole and taking a shopvac and sucking it out of the other hole. it would have enough pressure I am pretty sure of it.if not agitate with air and suck again with vac.

I used a 1" bit, knife to cut away "extra stuff in the way" and 2 file types for the notches.

What a PITA to get the debri out. Water made a mess. Air took for ever. I gave up and left some of the debri in as I was attached a smoked headlight cover anyway.....:D

I just used air only, no water. Got almost everything save a few shavings in the tiny corners.

i did a 1'' bit as well for one set, then also a few smaller ones on another set and used a dremel to make the hole bigger. Fine tuned everthing with files.

Just did this to my '03. Worked with the stock bulbs but had to put a little silicone around the hole. Took maybe 45 minutes total, the dremel helps.
Best part about relocating this way is cost = $0. Thanks OP for that write up.

Do it :D haha if you break one, just repair it as best you can then get some clear corners :p haha what i ended up doing on my first set..but i wouldn't have broke it if i had been more careful..

Its really not too hard to do ..

Anyone know where to get some clear corners for a 2003 I think they look sweet. I would like to do this mod as soon as it gets warmer out.
