Any of you guys running the Cobra 75 cb? I am trying to decide where to drill my hole for the quick connector. I have seen a few locations in pics but can't decide. I definately want it to be out of the way and plan on hanging the mic on the radio faceplate.

i have it and its definitely nice. i drilled the mount hole in the center console (regret it), then moved it about 7 inches below my ignition(much better). if i were to do it again, i would probably move it to the very furthest right i could

I was thinking of putting it to the immediate left of the glove box. Seems like the most "out of the way" area and less prone to get hit or snagged. Do you have pics of your setup?

Thanks! That looks like the winner. I was curious if the cable would reach that far. So you just have the mic hanging in the round circle for whatever light that is? I definately wanted to drill my hole in whatever plastic piece could be replaced the easiet and the center console seemed to be just that.

You guy's know anything about the fender bulge issue on the 01/07 build dates. Someone mentioned something about me researching it before I bought it which I did. The model I have is an 07 with 80K miles and no signs whatsoever of the bulge or crack with a build date of 01/07. Does anyone know something I don't on the redesigns and build dates? I found alot of info on the net but it seems to be conflicting.

Yeah I am not TOO worried. I mean with 80K something should have happened by now. If it does though I gues I will just jack it back up to where it should be and weld a plate inside the fender.
