    I tried ordering the same thing from them and all though the customer service was fine, their shipping sucked! They were telling me it'd be 4-9 days just to ship! When most people ship same day or have 1-2 day shipping I couldv'e let it pass with even a 2-4 day range. But 4-9 was crap. So I asked them what the deal was and it took two tries to get a "decent" answer and they told me that the manufacturer was waiting on a part. Are you kidding me? aFe can't ship my air filter because they're waiting on parts for production? It's not like I'm asking for a rebuilt starter or something. Give me a break. I asked for a refund so I could go through 4 wheel parts, hopefully they comply.

    Have never placed an order with autoanything, but it strikes me as shady that a company representative shows up on the forums only in light of some negative feedback, instead of making it right with the customer on the spot before it snowballed..this is just damage control.

    Im glad I came across this thread, I was about to buy some nerf bars from these guys. I think I will go another direction now. Another concerning factor is that AA99 only has two posts both relating to customer complaints, not much from a site vendor.

    the thing that pisses me off about autoanything.com is that they will send you let's say 10% to 15% off coupons, and when you try to check out it says that you can't use it for that order.     I ordered front and rear shocks recently from them, entered a discount code and it worked, but then a couple hours after i ordered found another coupon code that would save me more so i contacted them and they refunded me the difference of then new coupon no problem, had the money back in my account a couple days later instead of months like some places. Also my shocks arrived exactly when they said they would.

    So overall im very happy with them, sorry some of you had bad dealings. Also, the direct shipments from the manufactures arent shipped and packed as well as from AA. My front shocks were in stock and they came mailed together inside another brown box. The rears which came from the manufacturer came in the shock boxes taped together, instead of being put in another box. They arrived fine, just sayin thats why some stuff might be arriving damaged, since its sent from someone other than AA.

    i too have never had a bad experience with autoanything, i order regularly from them. nothing but good things to say about them. even more so now that this guy clark in customer service has posted saying he will fix any issue that arises. i'm not sure how someone could say that it's a bad thing that he is giving out his contact info on this forum, and telling anyone with an issue to call or email, but whatever.

    I've always had great service with AutoAnything. Hopefully everyone that is disappointed calls Clark and has it resolved.

    For those questioning Clark's motive on this site, he has no idea who you are and is trying to help by asking you to contact him. Unless you make the move to discuss your issue, how are they able to improve?

    Yeah I can see your point but I don't think there was anything shady intended. The company rep left themself personally open to getting flamed if they don't follow through. I think it's positive they at least put a real name out there and time will tell if they truly to work to resolve issues.

    Sorry to hear about some of these bad experiences. I've personally had great service from AA. Once I even forgot a discount code, called back and they gladly honored the coupon. Anything can happen though, good luck with your follow-up.
