Tim Tebow!

Haha maybe not man, thats what everyone said about how he couldnt put up points against the #1 ranked D in the league.

 

I don't know what you were watching, but, Tebow escaped at least 5 sacks and found an open receiver and hit him on the run, delivered a perfect strike to DT who did have a good stiff arm to break loose, and beat the #1 ranked D in the league in his first playoff game ever. How was Matt Prater given the chance to nail those field goals?

Obviously he is a good leader, as he won 2 BCS NC's in 4 years, and is now leading his team in the playoffs after beating the beloved Steelers in his first ever playoff game.

I'm trying to put all this Tebow crap in perspective. It's even harder as a UGA fan. Do I think he is a great QB? NO. Yes he can run the ball and is tough but he doesn't have an NFL arm. He made a great college QB, but he's no NFL QB. As a UGA fan I want to hate him, but the Christian side of him makes it hard to. It is a nice change to see him and his manner in the league compared to all the crap that turns me off from the NFL, all the thugs and such. Fans revere the thugs yet hate on a good Christian player.

 

Oh I get tired of hearing about it, but then again I get tired of hearing about all these "Pro" athletes crying about lack of playing time, getting arrested for drugs, dui's and such.

as far as the religious side of things, good for him he can believe what he wants to i don't give a shit. but when i am watching the top 10 plays and see a fucking hockey player tebowing i want to throw my tv through the wall. him tebowing all the time is annoying end of story. i don't hate him because he is religious or because he is a christian i hate him because he likes to "rub" it in everyone's faces. do i prefer to see someone like tebow (a "good" christian or whatever that means) or someone like ray lewis who may or may not have have killed a guy? of course i prefer someone like tebow but he can keep his righteousness to himself

Tebows work ethic and charity work is great! And I believe it...until we find out its like the neverland ranch...where it's bedtime when the big hand touches the little hand...... I personally...am not religious, but I am spiritual. I am a fuckin heathen Jew bastid. or whatever Cartman would call it.I listen to heavy metal and I always will, And I certainly dont like anyone forcing their religion on me.

And I am also unabashedly biased for the Broncos, am a diehard fan, And I like what has hapened this year since Tebow took over, as crazy as its been. lots of luck, and some more luck and good D have kept us in there. and McGahee. and Prater, And D thomas.

The last couple years have been tough. between That shit sammich cutler, orton hears a boo, the 'highly talented' but chronically underachieving Brady Quinn, and josh McFRICKINdouche we have lost a LOT of opportunities. 4 out of 19 draft picks remain with the donkeys. So to see a turn around is HUGE!!! I will take it, even if we have to deal with overzealous reborn-ers and scathing haters.(...lots of my friends as well as all you sad SD sparkler fans)

Tebow is unconventional, but its so blown out by the media, were all sick of it. its about the TEAM for me, and they're doing better then anyone expected so wtf, I will goddamn enjoy it as long as it lasts. (til Saturday at least ) and Tebow appears genuine in his beliefs, so F$#k it its better then when they they prey to the golden idol... of 'overpay me or i hold out for 6 weeks then suck all year as a result' (anyone remember CJ2K....? the douche.)

nothing wrong with being a good person however your personality is. as annoying as it may seem. he isnt the first or last religious athlete, so if everyone will stop getting all over his jock about it ....positive or negative, then we can all just enjoy a little Broncos football!!! ...for at least one more game. YA MASSHOLES!!!! (JK i got lots of family in Mass.) if we lose Saturday, then they are who they think they are...the superior team. elOeffinL. and no i havent been drinking, i am at work.

The Broncos/Tebow run stops in Foxboro. Next year teams will sure up their run/option defense and Tebow will go bye-bye. A couple seasons ago the " wildcat " offense made a big splash too. Gimmick plays don't last long on the pro level. The defense will still be good, but not enough to make it to the next level. .....Jets current problem too.

people that are trying to hate on him for the religion and all that i just don't get. i mean, really, he's not "shoving it down your throat". he's the QB of a football team that's winning games. cut and dry. complaining about him celebrating a success by "tebowing" or saying something in the press is his own thing. i have more respect for him than some hood rat just going on about his self and how great he himself is. tebow isn't looking for all the glory, the haters are just trying to use his religion as a way to make cracks at him cause their teams are loosing to him in the 4th quarter.

and for the record, im not a bronco's or a tebow "fan". like i said, he's a qb of a team that's winning games. that's all there is to it.
