    You got away clean dude, I nailed a deer doing 55 in my past truck and it totaled it. Pushed the metal bumper in about 5" smashed the hood, grill and fenders... Headlights gone... Tacomas are tanks. But like someone said, You hit one and man... Going though certain roads in the mountains makes me slow down well below the speed limit at night, Just in case.

    When I was a kid we used to go driving around in the pineapple fields looking for deer to run over. I had an old '49 Ford sedan that would hardly show any damage after hitting a deer. Of course that car had way heavier steel than anything on the road today. And we did eat them bamby's.

    called the body shop today, they said they had to order a few more parts that the ins. claim adjuster missed.

    truck still at the body shop.. they called and said they are waiting on a new wire harness for my fog lights. perhaps tomorrow:confused:

    yeah, and actually mine is silver.
    however i did take the pix early in the morning while the sun was still coming up, so possibly it could have made the truck look different colors via the angle of sunlight.
