thanks for all the posts! cant wait to see some more pics and examples.. i really love the look of stuffing the tires in there.. old school less wheel more tire. but i didnt even think about if i run 34s under only a 3 inch lift im not gonna have any clearance offroad am i. even with tons of cutting.

    oh, and what is "glassworks"?

blacktacoma23 his truck is set -up pretty nice.

35's in a full flotation size require a ton of trimming and probably going to have to lose your fender flares as well. the 35's can be done though thats fine with a 3inch plenty of guys have gone this route but, 37's requires new bedsides and front fenders and what i would assume to be still a ton of beating trimming and melting of your truck.

See, you guys, you never listen to me. I said that there was a Tacoma with 37's and 3" of lift, but you didn't listen to me. You guys are crazy. You know,
you guys are self-destructive. There's a funny farm and it has your
names written all over it, but I'm gettin' outta here. Tha... (Smells
something, change of voice) I smell ice cream.

Chad68: follows his nose to a nearby walk-in freezer and opens the door.
Inside are several small containers of his favourite ice cream brand.

    Chad68:
(Happily reading the labels) They got Swensons! Oh look, they got
"Pralines 'n Cream," and they got "Mississippi Mud," (excited) and
they got "Chocolate Eruption!" (Panting) And they got, "Apple," oh,
    and they got, "Grape"...

The others TW members: notice the one thing Chad68 didn't see: a dead body! The
body of the other dead FBI man is standing in the freezer next to
    Chad68.

    Chad68:
They got Grape, and Super-Duper Chocolate Eruption, and... (notices
the others, mouths hanging open, staring at something else in the
freezer) Wha? Wha? (Turns and notices the dead body. He fills with
fear, almost to the point of crying) Aaaah!

He backs out of the freezer trembling with terror. The others catch
him as he practically stumbles out. They're all terrified.

    Chad68:
Aaah! Aaah! Aaah! Aaah! It's a stiff!

    How is that for plagiarism!

    who makes 34's in a 16" size?

I'm looking for some bigger tires, I have AP glass fenders to go on with a 2.5" lift so been debating 33's or 35's..... 34's could be a good compromise

just an update. Toyota gave me a heck of a deal last year they wanted my 11 DC 6 speed 4wd. said they had a lot of people interested and could get more money selling my truck used then they could putting me in a new one. long story short, im in a 12 taco TRD sport DC 6 speed 4wd now. part of the deal i made them move my 5100's over to the new truck so its effectively already leveled. but they wouldnt move my mud terrains over cause i had bent one of the wheels offroading and the new wheels were 17's.
im starting over on my new truck now. looking to still finish my 3 inch lift and cram 34's in there on wheels. its killing me looking at stock tires now.

if im looking to keep stock fenders, and not putting a new bumper on there soon are my options just a lot of cutting? also im looking to finish my lift with new UCA diff drop AAL in the back. i see some guys on here running "3 inch lifts" up to 4 inches. how hard would that be to do with the set up i want? and what would i need to look into to do it?

thank ya'll so much so far on all the help and insight!
