My best friend/roommate is from England, and we found out that he had never been/heard of snipe hunting!! So at about 2am we all jump in the Tacoma and take off (luckily my gf had not been drinkin that night)

So we hit the dirt roads, hand full of plastic bags and a cooler of beer in the back. we just rode for a while talking it up, telling him he can't take a flashlight and that he will hear the birds... all he will need to do is walk quietly and when you hear one running close to your feet you have to dive on it with the bag. Hes totally believing EVERY word.

So after a while we stop for a ciggarette (no smoking in the truck) and after about 5 minutes of standing outside I suddenly say... "you hear that.... thats a SNIPE!" (of course it was just toads and such)

I tell him this wasn't a good spot though and we drove about 10 more minutes. Finally dropped him off and told him we were gonna drive about a mile down the rode, hide the truck, and walk his way.. pushing the snipe to him.

HAHA NAW, we took off and rode dirt roads for about another hour, finally he calls "where are you guys" At this point I couldn't hold it togather so my gf has to do all the talking. she tells him to wait it out, that we're in the woods too.

after about 2 hours total he finally calls pretty pissed off... so we finally decide to go pick him up. MAN you talkin bout pissed... all he had was one beer when he got out the truck and somehow he his lighter in the truck so he couldn't even smoke a cigg, he was not too happy! He finally laughed it off though.

Bad part is he says hes workin up a scheme to get me and the culprits back :( don't know how he'll top the SNIPE HUNT though :D
