Is it a common occurrence or only when wheeled hard?

When wheeled hard...but that's also the reason to have it. Unlocked you're open and no prob. Best to only use it when you need it and unlock it again.

So you have the ARB? what does that run to get installed? Or did you do it yourself?

I don't have one yet. Plan on getting an ARB for the rear.

how much of a problem would that be and where could i get some nice cv axles to help combat this issue?

wouldnt be too bad until you start getting rough w/ the truck. RCV might have some or be able to make some, but they are costly. OEM are more durable than aftermarket (vatozone, advanced, o reilly), but the aftermarkets usually have a lifetime warranty.

well now im stuck because i will be able to afford locking the thing up front and i have been know to tackle trails i prolly shouldn't have in a 2wd. . . ie beasley knob rock crawls. im guessing keep a spare cv and changing my driving habits would be enough to combat this when offroading. . . or at least i hope. screw it im gonna do it anyways!

Not to get off topic from this thread but would anyone of you georgia guys be interested in veturing to the lone SC offroad park? I really wanna go back to gulches either before or after this meet but would like to see a decent turn out as well...IMHO Gulches is 10x better than durhamtown but Dtown is fun for 2wd trucks with decent tires untill you have to clean mud for months afterwards...jw if any of you would be willing to put your trucks through Gulches and some legit trails where you need more than 2wd and mud tires to get through anything but the main roads. (sliders recommended at a minimum)

Dont have any idea for a date really right now, its just a thought on top of my head at the moment but i do want to go back sometime soon

Just get sliders and youd be good to go there honestly, bumper scrathces and skids will buff out..i used my sliders more than anything and i dont think we ever had to winch anyone out so 4wd & Locker did wonders...honestly i think 2wd locked and good driving would get you farther than open open 4wd there

Thats fine i thin youll be fine as long as you have sliders at minimum..if you look at the pics from that thread you will see where mien came in handy on sidewinder but i will hopefully have a winch so things should be good by then and if not i got a nice strap and im sure someone with a winch would be there..maybe whiskeydeltatango will go again, he has a 10k warn that came in handy for him, ill make a thread maybe feuary about it so i dont take away from this meet!
