Were you measuring yourself at different times of the day? The spine compresses gradually throughout the day and then decompresses while we are sleeping. I had the same issue when I joined the military. Then they just said, "You're 70 inches and that's that."

    ...oh yeah, I'm 70 inches.

This went on FOR YEARS. That I was 5-11. AFAIK, I only became 5-10 on the fall of 2010.

From HS, to the Army, and then on my V.A. check ups, I was always 5-11.

    No more! :(

LOL I'm 5'6" and I don't use the running boards. It's not like an un-lifted Tacoma is a tall truck :)

x2. i don’t even have step bars. i test drove a few that did and id not like them and one got my jeans dirty. not that i really cared... i don’t think 3” lift and 33”s will be hard to get in to. well mom wont with out steps, she kinda has a hard time with it stock. guess is sucks to be 5’1” tall

she also has to get me to get thinks in the kitchen or she gets one of the stools  lol

What I'm wondering is how the 6' 7" members even fit into a Tacoma. I'm 5' 9" and I hit my head getting in and can't wear a hat once I do.

It's a squeeze for me, but my only issue is my eyesight level. If I sit straight up, my eyes are at the top of the windshield. If I slide down just a tad, then I'm okay.

Ironically enough, I bought the truck off a guy who was 6'7". He had to recline his seat more than I do, but other than that, he had no issues.

Most taller people are use to ducking under doorways, etc, so the Tacoma posses no real life issues that we don't already deal with on a day-to-day basis, so it's no biggie from our perspective.

Maybe I have my seat back set too vertically, or maybe I just have a tall torso. I do wish the top of the windshield went up a few inches more in the Tacoma.

I just measured -- it's 36" from the chair seat to the top of my head sitting down -- I must be top-heavy.
