i have an 09 DCSB with the All Pro 3" leaf pack and extended length 5100's in the rear.

when i pull in or out of my driveway (rear wheels hit the gutter) i hear something like metal popping on the PASSENGER side only, or when i give it gas and turn off my street onto another street (like a left or right turn at an intersection) i hear something creak and pop back there.

i cannot for the life of me figure out what this is. i think it may be my leaf pack settling , (not on my truck, but the actual pack itself making noise; like the individual leafs rubbing against themselves, or loose pins in the leaf pack)

i checked to make sure my shocks are all tight
i checked to make sure the leaf pack is tight and secure on the truck
i made sure all the u bolts were tight

any ideas? anybody have problem with their all pro packs?

i recently read a thread about the extended length shocks topping out, but i know thats not the problem. its not like something rattling, but more of a strain on something.

i'm kind of sketched out that ill be driving and something is just going to like fall off lol

nope no shims. but its only on the passenger side.

all i could think of is minor axle wrap, but the u bolts are really snugged on there. but it cant be axle wrap cause it happens when i come rolling around a turn without any throttle i think

Is it just a squeaky leaf? The mods and DIY section up on the top right can help you out if it is that. Does it do it if you move the back of the truck up and down like pushing on the tailgate?

i just ran outside and checked. the hardward is all good, no cracks in the shackle, perch or mounts.

i was just jumping on my bumper, and it popped once, like as if it slipped into / out of place again; but that was it.

im gonna do some more jumping on the bumper tomorrow to investigate further, but as for now.. have any more ideas?
