It's good to hear you're okay. Is the truck a total loss?

I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
no, just most of the front end will need replacing. Pretty much everything tires forward. Fenders, hood, grill, bumper, tie rods, transmission cooler, maybe radiator, all the lights on the front end.

my truck was in the middle of an icy road, wrecked, and it was dark. so no, I didn't. thought crossed my mind, but I decided to hide out in the median in case someone else hit the same ice I had. Plus, I didn't want a reminder of where my first paycheck was going. i was hoping it might go towards payments on a new truck.

Damn man! Glad your ok. Do you have full coverage on it?

I decided to drive through the arsenal on my way home due to the cold temps and wet roads. Where did it happen?

Not sure where you plan to have it worked on, but I have had minor work done at Joe Hudson and I use Checker Auto Body for my Satoshi's. My boss uses Checker for paint work on his restorations some times.

I haven't had a chance to look at it yet. A co-worker picked me up this morning so I'm at work now. Sucks not being old enough to get a rental car.

You can from Enterprise (minimum age 21) but you have to pay an extra fee, so it may not be worth it.

if you do go through enterprise your insurance should cover it and the extra fee. i know when i needed one after a guy rear ended my old gmc they paid for everything and i was like 23 or 24 they just took one day off to cover the extra fee so intead of having it paid for for like 2 weeks i got it for 13 days???? may want to check with your ins company.

Paul you gotta be careful out there man! B*tches be jealous of our SWB trucks...there is an ongoing study to prove that they are trying to take them out one by one. I mean they already got to Toyota and had them discontinue the color in 2012...coincidence? I think not.

    Glad you are alright!

i think its more of a matter that swb makes a driver distracted and lose skills (no offense paul) so that is why toyota pulled the plug, they were tired of seeing their trucks getting wrecked.......... jk

Lol, brian and justin have a lot more posts than david, and davids rep bar is way more full. Looks like kyle and I need to share our wealth of rep power.

edit: lulz, gave both of you another rep bar lit up.

woo hoo thanks paul. i have no idea how folks get rep bars maxxed out that quickly. ive been on here for a couple years now and would like to think that not all of my posts are smart ass hurtful things and that i try my best to help others with what little knowledge i have gained and i never get rep so i dont know how others get so much.

you know i was thinking you may want to go ahead and pull what susp stuff you can off the truck before it goes in the shop cuz if not they may take the aftermarket stuff off and put it in the dumpster??? hopefully not but you never know some places are more back to stock condition strict than others.

well thats good maybe just maybe if they get in there and see that some of it is damaged and needs replaced they will let you pick out what you want new that way when you get your new truck you can take it off this one and have brand new to put on your new truck...... you never know.
