Although tehre is a chance that some douch bag could take the cards, the chances are much less than if cash was sent. Also, by having a record of the cards being purchased, and by who, if one is stolen, or lost, there is a way to go back and file a complaint against the post office........I think. More so than if Cash was sent anyway.

Cool! Just so people know, please forgive me, but with all the running around, and the insane flood of support you guys have all given, I have lost track of who sent things. I am so sorry for this. I feel like I have let down my end. Being as I am working with Jenny on logging who all sent things, I will try to maintain as much accuracy as possible. Jenny is writting down names as they come in.

x3 ... You've got bigger things to worry about than a list. I don't think anyone here is looking for a Thank You Note...just a happy resolution of a bad situation. :)

The fact that they are gonna have shelter, and new clothing gives me peice that things will be OK. The fact that there are a ton of folks rooting for Fred and them gives me a feeling that cant be described!

Post up if he lost some hand tools. I know I have some duplicates in my garage that I could afford to send his way. I read that his tools survived but sometimes, and don't ask me how I know this :), fire does bad things to tools. I'm thinking just simple stuff like screw drivers, wrenches, hammers, vice grips, channel locks and that kind of thing. I also have like 4 grinders in my garage. I'd rather send one his way then have someone borrow them and never know where the hell they went.

From what he has told me, Most tools survived. Homertaco has sent some Home Depot gift cards, so those can be used to replace any tools that may have been damaged. Thank you!

Also, I just got word that an individual made a nice donation to the Hospital that Fred is at, to be applied to his bills. I have NO idea who this person is, or if they are even a member of the site. If you are reading this

    THANK YOU!

Still no word on Freds condition yet. Gonna try to call the Hospital again in a few mins.

May their path be blessed as Jason and Michelle put their lives back together and please Heavenly Father, let Fred return home to once again provide his family with his fearless protection and unconditional love.
