Oh yea i plan to hit my " secret spots" here in a couple of weeks. Last year we had an awesome season in TN. Between myself and a buddy of mine we found about 4 dz from a 1 acre spot. Some of them were about 8" tall but most of them were only about 3-4". Some damn good eating once you stuff them pepper jack cheese and deep fry them.

This makes me miss my grandpa..........as a kid I'd go with him and dad and find tons of shrooms on grandpas farm....we'd take them back to grandmaw and she would fry them and put them on the table with her homemade sweet ketchup.............best grub I ever ate!!!..............my aunt now has the family recipe for ketchup and I still keep it around. But I sure miss those days.:(

I still like to find them while turkey hunting..............yummy!!!:D

I roll them in egg and then cracker crumbs, pan fry in butter until slightly crisp on the outside.

Slap em on a plate next to a nice Rib Eye steak and mmm mmmmmmmm
