I have the receipt with the card number if you need me to follow up. You could just drive around town and look for a Postal dick buying stupid shit with gift cards and kick them in the throat. I would imagine in a town that small they'd get found out pretty quick. Cash is a shit load easier to spend without tracing it.

Chris, so sorry to hear the bad news. I didnt even know this happened until right now when I came upon this thread. I'm sure Red Cross has their hands in this right? I know thats how we work things when we help people that lose their homes from a fire.

The Red Cross as been a suprising disapointment. While they sent my brother off to get fuel for his truck, and some supplies, with a $50.00 Visa card, it turned out to only be a $5 dollar one. He was stranded at a gas station until some locals pitched in to give him gas. They put him up in a shelter, but had no access to a shower, or the like. A friend of my brothers ended up putting him and Michelle up for a night, and another guy gave them an old Winebago to set up on the property. The RV should be hooked up to power and water by tomarrow, if its not finished tonight.

Oh wow, yeah thats not like Red Cross or at least you would hope not. Maybe its different where he lives? At least they got a trailer to stay at for now so thats good. Main thing is they are alive and okay.

Chris - I wouldn't worry until next week. A lot of people that ordered on-line were told delivery would be Saturday or Monday (well, Tuesday in this case due to the holiday on Monday). Bet they get flooded with cards this coming week!

I've got the addressed and stamped envelope ready. Just haven't made it to Wally World yet. Like Hot Tamale said, I wouldn't worry until Tuesday. USPS isn't the fastest, or, even better, their mail man may have had a WTF moment when he finished sorting the mail for their address and called in sick ;)

OK FOLKS!!!! I just got off the phone with jenny, and evidently, you guys hit the Show Low post office to the point that the donations had to be made IN THEIR OWN TRIP! 4 BOXES OF SUPPLIES AND 12 GIFT CARDS SHOWED UP!! Jenny is giggling with happines for Jason and Michelle, as they dont know they came yet!! The Gift cards that were purchased electronicly dont have any info on them, as far as what they are worth, etc., but Im sure that can be found out at the store! I just got back from meeting with Josh (Moose1988) and him and his lovely girlfriend just gave clothes, a nice purse, and a gift card to be deliverd when I see Jason tomarrow!!

    YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
