    I sauteed the apples and pears in a little bit of butter added bread crumbs, chifonaded some mint and stuffed them. The bit that was extra one of the guys tried to make a glaze to no avail but then we added bacon so it was basically apple sauce with bacon it all went together well.

    Boiled chicken tonight and shredded Mexican-style; added salsa and cheese and wrapped in half an egg roll wrapper and baked at 400 deg. Pretty good replica of taquitos with no frying involved.

    It is a really good recipe, and its a nice contrast with the meat and fruit. I do like cooking with fruit it adds a nice edge to everything. If you eat pork give it a try. I find a lot of ppl judge the food I make until they eat it sometimes. This meal was for 7 men and everyone of them were fighting over the last chop and it is the 2nd time I have made it for them.
