Finally sold my '01 2.7l prerunner and moved up to a white 2012 4.0L 4x4. drove it straight to the hunting camp from the dealership. Love it so far. It's a big change from what I was used to. Going to do my best not to mod anything until its paid off...

Oh, come on, dustinclm. Such a short message is a copout. What were your first impressions, what do you like most and least, what has improved versus what hasn't, and so on? And when are you going to change the vehicle description in your header?

I'm liking the V6 over the 4cyl I had, the sat radio, back up camera and interior console set up, to name a few but so far Im satisfied with it. no complaints but I'm still getting setting in it. drove it to the deer camp (120 miles) within ice chest and cab loaded down and it handled just fine. the rims/tires are still growing on me, I rather the TRD Rims and the mud tires I had on the old truck

11 years between vehicles is a long time you must be stoked ! :D

As far as leaving it stock. Lol, I said the same thing and it took me less than 2 weeks before I started modding.;)

I am! my '01 was my first and only truck. it did anything and everything but after around 180,000 miles it was time for an upgrade and it's been worth it. About to head to town and the g/f wants to drive, dont know if I'm ready for that haha

GRATS!!! Looks good! I have a question - what wheels are those? Did the dealer put on aftermarket wheels on the new truck? That seems odd to me

They appear to be the wheels included in the TRD Sports package, and perhaps an option with other packages. Actually, if you're willing to pay, you can usually get any wheels you want (regardless of package).

However, after looking at these and other wheels in the showroom, I ended up sticking with the wheels included with the TRD Off Road package. The wheels I have aren't particularly better, but none of the other wheels really jumped out as better either.
