how to do front brake lines ?

Do you need to drain all the fluid out of the system before taking off the stock brake lines to put on the extended ones?

 

No, but you might want small container (like a coffee can) to catch what leaks out when you breach the lines (remove)

 

So I can just take the wheels off and use a flare wrench and another wrench and take the lines off? For some reason I thought all the fluid would drain out.

 

The fluid will drain but have you new line ready to attach right as you pull that one off and you won't have to refill your reservoir as much. Definitely bleed your brakes still because there will be air in the lines.

 

So the fitting on the hard line threads into the brake line correct?and the flare wrench is for the brake line fitting right?

 

Any wrench of the correct size should work fine. The hardline is a female fitting and there should be a male/male fitting that allows you to connect it to the hose that goes to the caliper. Basically allowing you to connect 2 female ends together.
