Tim Tebow!

I'm sitting at a bar in Gainesville rockin' all my Patriots gear. These Gator fans are too timid to say anything. Today is the day Tebow turns atheist.

You don't stick with Tebow? I'm actually shocked so few people have said anything here. Guess I jut come from the Sox/Yanks rivalry where people throw things at me and curse my family.

 

Yeah college fans are loyal to the team more than the players. The players come and go all the time. For instance I love my Dawgs and like Matthew Stafford, I want him to do good and pull for him but if it came down between them playing the Falcons I'd have to pull for the Birds. I hated Tebow in college, now I do kinda like him for the change of pace from the thug mentality but I don't hate him. I'm sure if I met him I'd probably like him from hear say. I used to hate Peyton Manning in college too, it's all about the loyalty I guess.

 

I like Peyton Manning, he's not a thug.

I strongly dislike the Colts though.


The thug argument is invalid because I still hate Tebow. Manning wins, and I dislike him for that. But he seems like an awesome dude, and he's not over the top flamboyant like Tebow. Oh yeah he is also a really good quarterback, which Tebow is not.

I never said Manning was a thug, just the opposite in fact. He's a good guy. My point was the loyalty to your college team. I love my Dawgs therefore when he was at Tenn. I hated him. I was just pointing out loyalties towards college teams vs players.

Just a lot of people said something about thugs as role models, but I view Manning as a role model, and he's not a thug.

Hes cocky, Not like "LOOK AT ME IM THE GREATEST QB EVER!" but hes definitely got that shit grin. Either way this whole tebowing shit is ridiculous, Just cause this guy gets down on one knee and praises god every 5 seconds doesnt make him any better of a quarterback. Its all good to be religious but it doesnt belong in sports to the extend of renaming a praying stance after a damn football player.
