Forgive me for being a total n00b when it comes to a lot of this stuff.

I'm thinking of converting my tail lights to LEDs. What's the easiest and/or best way to do this? Is the only option to buy a whole new assembly, or is there a way to just replace the bulbs?

I apologize for being clueless, I'm just starting to get into mods and stuff like this.

    Look at build!

You can replace the whole assembly or just buy the LED bulbs that fit right in the stock housings...ill try to search up a link for some but try superbrightleds.com

So they have LED bulbs that can be dropped into place of the "normal" bulbs without modifying any of the wiring or electrical stuff?

So would it be better to just drop in LED bulbs in the current assembly, or to probably just buy a whole new assembly?

I want to do that too but the climate control panel has an orange film on it...so if i chnage bulbs there it will be off colour....

i heard that the climate control panel from a 4runner *which doesn't have the orange film* would work.... do you know from which year of 4runner panel will work for a 2004 sr5 tacoma?

Trimmed and folded the pinch weld in the front wheel wells. I also removed the rear mud flaps and trimmed/reshaped the rear fender flare corners slightly for more clearance. The countersunk screws for the fender flares were at the suggestion of Expeditions West to help avoid tire interference versus the old hex screw heads.

Yea i wouldnt do it unless it was just the reverse lights which i kind of want to do but my lights on the toolbox do a good enough job for me so doubt i will be doing it anytime soon

It doesn't make the it off color depending on the color you use, blue, green and red should be fine but white then yes it would have a weird tint to it...but i was just carefull and peeled mine off, but fingernail polish remover works just as well too on the end of a Q-tip, just be carefull with it and take your time and dont soak it and you should be good to go!

Changed passenger side cv axle. Took me some time but got it done. Driver side tomorrow should go faster and I'll take some pictures.
