LED fog light replacement bulbs

I'm a big advocate of LED lights on a small budget

 

I have not had any experience with those bulbs, but for that price you can get hid's for your fogs

 

I have some experience with fog light replacement LEDs and the light output is usually poor. You're better off getting HIDs.

On the other hand, If you have HIDs in your headlights and just want to match your fog lights to your headlights, these are an okay option, if you're willing to sacrifice the low light output

 

HID's in your fog lights pretty much make them useless for fog or foul weather.

Nokya bulbs are a good upgrade for fog light bulbs and around the same price. I don't see any benefit to swapping to LEDs for fog lights.

 

3000K HIDs? I haven't used them in bad weather yet, but they look awesome!

 

I run a 3000k hid kit in my fogs and am very satisfied with them. They cut through fog and dust like no other.

 

I run 3000k in my foglights as well, I absolutely love them. Work great in fog, dust, snow and rain

I dont get it. I had a TSX retro fit in my Prelude and they were 100x better than stock in every aspect. But it was a true retro fit so I dont know how the performance is on a P+P kit. I know they are good at blinding oncoming drivers

 

Disagree all you want... with fogs you want light to stay low and wide. Scattered light reflecting upward just makes a wall of light in front of you. If you want HIDs, do it right, put them in projectors. I still stand by my first statement, HID's in factory fog lights hurt them for their intended use. An upgraded halogen would be a better option.

 

the bulbs in the op won't really do much but, turn your fog lights into dtrl's.

i have a quality led bulb in my truck currently and they are in a very shallow housing in my arb. i run them as dtrl's for that they are highly visible but, at night they only produce the softest glow. no real light but, to look at them they look extremely bright if that makes sense.

if you want some bright led lights look into some rigid or vision-x leds vision-x makes one in particular thats very bright and round so you could retrofit them in either your factory location or you factory fog housing.

 

or retrofit projectors.

i want me them s2000's with 3k bulbs and 55 watt ballast.

I have the yellow Nokya's. No complaints.

I got mine from Amazon. No stores around here have them. Not to say you couldn't find them somewhere.

I haven't found the Nokyas in a store yet. I bought mine on Amazon. If they're sold out, Autoanything sells a Putco version of the same bulbs.

 

I agree. The yellow Nokyas are awesome. The light output is low, evenly distributed, and bright. Hid fogs looks terrible, scattered hot spots, and blinds on coming drivers. Either go with the Nokyas or retrofit the fogs.
