Am I too late to help? I usually steer clear of the off topic discussion but this caught my eye & I know if I were in his shoes, every little bit would help.

    Dog rescued from house fire

Sean Dieterich - The Independent | Posted: Sunday, January 15, 2012 5:00 am

WHITE MOUNTAIN LAKE — Firefighters were not able to save a trailer home on Rifle Drive from an intense blaze, but managed to rescue a Rottweiler trapped inside.

According to Show Low Fire public information officer Brent Mix, multiple fire departments received reports of the blaze around 2:34 p.m. Jan. 9. Departments from White Mountain Lake, Show Low, Linden and Taylor responded, as well as the Navajo County Sheriff’s Office and Arrowhead EMS.
Mix said the residence, a single wide trailer with an addition built on, was fully engulfed and was a complete loss. However, he said during the blaze firefighters found a dog, a 90-pound black Rottweiler with brown markings, and retrieved him from the home. Arrowhead EMS gave the dog, named Fred, oxygen and the homeowner’s wife transported Fred to Alta Sierra Veterinary Hospital in Show Low.
Veterinarian Kristin Bell said when Fred came in he had singed fur and burns on his face, as well as severe smoke inhalation. She said Fred was treated with oxygen and fluids all evening after they got him and, as of Jan. 10, was doing just fine.
“It was very smoky where the firefighters pulled him out,” she said. “They couldn’t believe he survived.”
Bell said they will hold Fred for further evaluation before releasing him to his owners.
Mix said the scene of the fire was cleared at 4:30 p.m., with White Mountain Lake Fire staying to mop up. He said local fire marshals are investigating the cause of the fire.

I'm pretty sure there has to be a number in the back of the card to call and know the balance. I know they have better things to do, but may be somebody can call.
In the the other hand, since they need to use them they will figure it up soon.

Just got off the phone with Jason. They have more volunteers comming over today to begin the clean up process! He is thinking it should be all cleared in 2 weeks! I poersonally think thats an awfully ambitious time frame. but we'll see :)
