Been Looking for a while for an over canopy rack, that can be mounted to a SB without any major customizing. Found a local company called Westcan, they make a sorts of alloy racks and rails. but they also make this over canopy rack that is fairly light and has a load rating of around 600 lbs. I've had it mounted without a canopy for a while, I finally took some shots after I installed my new Bestop Supertop. everything worked great after finding some 3/16 alloy to fill in the gap along the rails between the rack mounts.

Yeah, it is. I'm thinking it would work well with my roof top tent.

I've seen some custom over cap / cab racks locally

The only limiting factor for a cap seems to be the overlap of the cap over the bedsides
