I ordered a bushing pack, and an AAL from toytec. When i received the order, the paper says 11 Tacoma 4WD. When in fact it was supposed to be for a 2001. It says the leaves are low arch leaves with the 4 anti friction pads. My understanding was the pads were only for the 2nd generations. will these leaves still work on my 1st gen and even though they say low arch, will they still lift my rear 2"?

First time I ever heard "low arch" from ToyTec.
Usually they use lift amount to describe their AAL's.
Part number I found was TAC-AL-LA

Thats the same part # I have on the invoice, but they refer to it in writing as (2)D10045K73 Rear ToyTec Low Arch add-a-leafs
    (4) anti friction pads
    (2) spring center pins w/nuts

I bought the Deaver 2" add a leafs from Toytech, they had the anti friction pads.
Toy Tech calls them "Toy Tech" brand, buy they are Deaver, mine drop shipped direct from Deaver to my house.

Will the #tac-al-la also work on the 2nd gen? I too ordered a 2" AAL from toytec and they sent me that same one.....mine being a 2nd gen tacoma.....I did some research and it states the 2nd gen part number is #tac-al......I emailed toytec and they replied saying these two part numbers are the same item???!!!!!....will this aal give me the desired lift of 1.5-2" on the rear?
