    I odn't have a bat...would a rolling pin be a good substitute?

I'll try that once he gets a little drunker. I'm sure it would be easier to battle him then.

I wish. I keep an eye on the properties listings here. Unfortunately I could only probably afford a condo on my own. Not sure that that would be a step up or not.

Currently working on getting him kicked out...he smokes and has had a dog around lately. This is a smoke free and pet free building according to my rental agreement.

I currently live in an apartment style condo and never have noise issues with my neighbours, I will buy an acreage when I can afford one though.

I cannot afford my lifestyle and buy property

I'll just settle on inheriting mine down the road and stick with my $300/rent

if i ever get to buy property i'm not getting less than 5 acres and if the price is right then i'll get 10. i need elbow room

not sure about canada but here in the us the building codes dictate different things for apartments and condos - condos have to have different types of party (shared) walls/floors then apartments. Fire code is all the same, double wall, insulated, gyp on each side but in apartments you aren't required to insulate the floors between units. I can't hear the neighbors next to me ever but this jackass below me has been consistently irritating over the last year.

    I pay twice that!

I live in a super nice gated luxury apartment complex...with a lake and woods on the property

    I have a garage too :)

I was in a 1BR then moved into a 3BR to help a buddy out...now moving into a primo 1BR first floor on the lake apt in Feb.

    :woot:

Myself and my 2 brothers will inherit 140+ acres on the other side of town one day (not soon I hope) and I cannot justify having a house for just me...and spending $700-$1000 a month on rent, when I can spend $300 on rent, have the big tv, guns, a motorcycle, save $$ for the future, and buy what I want when I want
