Thanks, and clean truck yourself! :)

Hahaha, yeah this is our first real snow of the season. Last year we didn't really get anything.

Here's hoping for the best on your end! :D

Not sure if I'll ever get it to that point, but I have no doubt they would have any problem getting it to that point!

So... I got to thinking today about how we don't have a lot of room for subs in our first gens and I do love my Polks I just want MOAR! So what I'm thinking is making a box that will hold 4 8" Kicker L7's that will sit in the middle of the back seat of my double cab and extend over the seat and sit on the floor like the access cab guys have available, think-a big "L" shape. I would buy 4 2 ohm dvc kickers and run it for a 1 ohm final load with a 1,000 watt amp that will handle a 1ohm load, probably a Kicker 10DX1000.1 and put a grey, my interior color, "shell" over the subs so that you can't see them with a tray/cup holder thing on top so that it will be kind of stealthy. You guys think that I'd be worth the work?
Kind of like a bigger version of this

IF you get that built I'd love to see it cause i have 2 10" kicker comps taking up the hole back seat, the amp is actually behind the passenger side back seat. so the the seat doesn't even clamp shut. I'd like to put bucket seats back there...ever seen or heard of that???

Not a bad idea but damn 4  you will hav to make it pretty large to have enough airspace...pretty sure the L7 8's need around .8 cuft a piece so thats 3.2 and i dont think youll get that without making it pretty wide but id damn sure like to see it done...just get yourself a Sundown Audio sa-8 and hell maybe even get 2 if you want more and i garuntee you it will slam with only 1.2 cuft min!

Thanks man, the 7" lights i have now with the HID swap are mega bright as well!

Nah sounds pretty cool if it were SA, caged and a hardcore wheeler...i think it would be pretty sweet!

Minimum of .33 per sub sealed so 1.32 min. for the whole box. Right now its sitting at .7 so come daylight I've got to figure how to squeeze a little extra out of it.

Damn really? I was way off...i should really get back into knowing all this off the top of my head but anywho i still vote for the sundowns, plus they are cheaper than the kickers..there is a vid on youtube comparing the 2 and the sundown runs all over the kicker

The sundowns wil run you around 275 for a pair and are 400watt rms but alot of what ive read people constantly push 1k to them so id say get 2 of them with the kicker 1k amp and be done

Really? I've never heard them I was going to use the kickers because they have a high rms and square design so I could put in a smaller box. Of all I've see they seem to be the best for this build but I'll search for that video.

Mostly the fact that I could have insurance issues if I get in a wreck.

The ride is very nice with it off though and the body roll isn't that bad.

Nice. But do you really think an insurance adjuster would notice the missing anti-sway bar? :notsure:

Yea look them up, there is a video of 1 sa-8 in a hatch honda civic hitting 152db i think with a kick mounted mic..their pretty gnarly speakers and its what my newest box was built for..the only downside to them is they have to be in a ported box but they do better if you can get the volume as small as possible as long as there is at least .6 per sub the range is .6-1. on them but ive read the lower the better

Could just say that when you bought it it had no sway bar.

Or be like...whats a sway bar

    :D

Or you could say the sucker flew off in an accident. Screw the bolts in the holes and be like...it WAS there...

    :D
